My experience in Expedia has been centering around the car rental line of business. The first multi-quarter epic that I majorly contributed was migrating the frontend application from an old Ember.js application to a custom server-side rendering react app, with a GraphQL Kotlin Springboot backend for frontend. After a follow up epic of similar migration on SEO pages, the next few multi-quarter epics I was leading was centering on the company's major initiative, which involved replacing old Java Springboot applications with multiple gRPC based Kotlin Springboot applications deployed in AWS EKS.
